It's been awhile in the making but it's here-my homepage for what I do,what I play,about my teaching music online,links to my other blogs,my offering to the Universe which says that I'm present and ready for the next step forward.
Lots of revisions have been done -and I must admit it's been my recent reading of the book "The War of Art" that got my snap to start progressing and start dealing with "resistance",as the author calls it-the sneaky ways in which we put off,delay,or stagnate in what we are born to do. It's been an amazing wake up call.
I haven't listed every instrument I play as some are in the "getting a handle on it" stages. Among these are clarinet and viola.Tho I know I'm better on viola than I think I am but want to incubate a bit more with it before rushing out into the world.

Sherrie,known as "That chick pickin on the porch",plays many instruments,ukulele, 6 string banjo,mandolin,and 5 string banjo being among them. She teaches online using Facebook video chat and teaches women and young ladies exclusively. Inquiring males have proven to be "too questionable" for her to consider teaching men. She loves Swing and Gypsy Jazz,in addition to Blues,Old TIme Music and Bluegrass.
